Live event and livestreaming synergy

Lars Winnerbäck, an award-winning and influential Swedish artist with thirteen studio albums under his belt, was seeking to find a meaningful way to connect with his fans during the challenging COVID era.
Venue capacities were strictly regulated and planned shows often shut down with short notice. Yet the need for connectivity and financially meaningful ways of performing were as important as ever.
Doors worked closely with United Stage, who organised a concert in a small legendary venue in Stockholm admitting only 200 ticket buyers (which got snapped up in eight seconds)...
Doors put in place a broadcast production and also enabled a further seven physical venues in Sweden to receive the livestream, allowing for socially distant – yet somewhat close – co-viewing.

Outcome in simple numbers

200 people bought tickets to the physical event at Södra Teatern.
700+ people bought tickets to the seven venues that received the live stream for co-viewing.
7,500+ people bought tickets to the digital livestream.
